Utopia offers a musical bouquet composed by the renowned Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548–1611), born in Ávila, Spain. The programme is centred on Victoria’s motet Trahe me post te and his Mass on this motet. The backdrop for this magnificent music is the equally beautiful cathedral of the royal monastery of St Thomas in Ávila. Our guest conductor is Rupert Damerell.
